The Fortuna ES 50 leather skiving machine is in good used condition, fully functional, cleaned and ready for immediate use. The optical condition can be seen in the attached pictures and videos. An inspection and detailed examination of the purchased item, is expressly desired by arrangement.
The ES 50 model is a universal single-blade skiving machine with infinitely variable electronic feed and a digital blade position display that is popular in the shoe and leather goods industry as well as in orthopedics.
It can be used to thin materials with extreme precision. By beveling the edges of workpieces of any shape and size, it is possible to obtain perfect butt joints without thickening the workpiece at the joint. It can also be used to cut grooves to facilitate the bevelling of the edges of elastic or certain rigid materials.
With its precise and robust construction, it is designed for samples, small and medium series, mechanically very stable, flexible to set up, easy to handle and can be used quickly and easily for many different sharpening and splitting operations, such as bevel cutting, bevel cutting with bow groove or parallel cutting.
It has a powerful 380 V / 0.37 KW high-voltage motor. Therefore, equipped with the appropriate presser feet and transport rollers, it is suitable for processing both thin and thick materials.
The speed of the feed roller is electronically controlled to precisely meter the feed of the material, simplifying the processing of materials with inside and outside curves. The optimal adaptation of the feed speed to the material and sharpening contour also avoids scrap, increases machine productivity and shortens the teach-in time. Here, the bell blade rotates permanently at full speed for a clean sharpening result.
The thinning and slitting width can be infinitely adjusted between 0 mm and 50 mm. The built-in automatic suction device keeps the inside of the machine clean at all times. The splitting material and fine dust are collected in the respective containers and can be easily disposed of.
The machine can process different materials such as leather, leather-like materials, artificial leather, felt, rubber, plastic, cork, etc. pp. For the reason, it is used in many different professions such as shoemaker, bootmaker, bag maker, fine bag maker, saddler, car saddler, upholsterer, bookbinder, Riemer and many others.
