The Juki DSC-245 3 feed arm sewing machine is in good used condition, fully functional, cleaned and ready for immediate use. The visual condition can be seen in the attached pictures and videos. An inspection and detailed examination of the purchased item, is expressly desired by arrangement.
The Juki DSC-245 is a right-handed single needle arm sewing machine with horizontal hook, sliding thread lever, bottom, top and needle feed. Its use is in all branches of the sewing industry. The machine can be used to process different materials such as leather, imitation leather, felt, PVC, canvas etc. pp. For this reason, it is used in many different professions such as cobbler, shoemaker, bag maker, fine bag maker, saddler, car saddler, upholsterer, bookbinder, stramer, etc. The particularly slim lower arm with a diameter of only 46 mm, facilitates the handling of difficult sewing processes such as assembly, decorative sewing and binding work on small leather goods and difficult-to-reach or tubular sewing material parts.
The Juki DSC-245 is very robust and durable in its construction. With suitable attachments and additional equipment, it is suitable for many sewing operations, such as welting work, zipper work, quilting work or binding work. Due to the adjustable bottom feed, the sewing machine is suitable both with stroke for edge stitching and without stroke for binding operations. If necessary, the sewing machine can be quickly and easily converted and set up for binding work within approx. 15 minutes according to detailed instructions.
The sewing machine has been converted by an expert to the more popular and widespread 134-35 needle system and can thus be equipped with a wide range of needles with cutting point.
With the triple feed - bottom feed, needle feed and alternating foot top feed - material of different thickness, as well as those with rough, slightly slippery or sticky surface is evenly transported in several layers. This prevents the layers of material lying on top of each other from shifting. Even when processing medium-weight materials, it ensures smooth feeding and a consistently clean and even seam pattern. The excellent climbing behavior prevents stitch shortening and material damage at thick spots and cross seams.
The feed movements of the top feed, needle and knife-gate valve take place simultaneously and are set at a common stitch regulator lever. This ensures exact matching of the feed movements when regulating the stitch length, even with reverse stitching.
Thanks to the integrated oil system with adjustable hook lubrication, the sewing machine parts are supplied with sufficient lubricant fully automatically.
Productivity is significantly increased by the increased speed up to a maximum of 2200 rpm and the electropneumatic sewing foot lift, which ensures smooth and adapted sewing and transport behavior.
It has a powerful Efka variostop 380 V / 600 W high-voltage motor including motor control and needle positioning. Due to the many adjustment possibilities with needle up and needle down functions, the work is considerably facilitated and a better sewing result is achieved.
The manual back-tacking device allows exact back-tacking "stitch-in-stitch" of the seam.
