The Pfaff 345 3 feed arm sewing machine is in good used condition, fully functional, cleaned and ready for immediate use. The visual condition can be seen in the attached pictures and videos. An inspection and detailed examination of the purchased item, is expressly desired by arrangement.
The Pfaff 345 is a right-handed single needle arm sewing machine with vertical hook, sliding thread lever, bottom, top and needle feed. It is used in all branches of the sewing industry. The machine can be used to process different materials such as leather, imitation leather, felt, PVC, canvas etc. pp. For this reason, it is used in many different professions such as cobbler, shoemaker, bag maker, fine bag maker, saddler, car saddler, upholsterer, bookbinder, Riemer, etc.
With the triple feed - bottom feed, needle feed and alternating foot top feed - material of different thickness as well as material with rough, slightly slippery or sticky surface is evenly transported in several layers. This prevents the layers of material lying on top of each other from shifting. The sewing machine has a high pull-through force. This ensures smooth feed and a consistently clean and even seam pattern, even when processing heavy materials.
This is the Pfaff 345 in the H3 stroke version, with a maximum passage height - stroke heights of the top feed dog and presser foot - of 15 mm, allowing easy insertion/removal of bulky materials, trouble-free processing of thick materials and effortless overstitching of cross seams.
In the C version, the sewing machine is designed for sewing heavy materials and suitably equipped with a powerful Moretti 3 phase - 380 V - 750 W clutch motor. In the product video, six layers of leather, each 2.2 mm thick, with a total thickness of approximately 13 mm, were sewn for demonstration purposes.
It is equipped with a large vertical hook, with large capacity of the bobbin. The manual back-tacking device allows accurate back-tacking "stitch-in-stitch" of the seam.
